AiKeys is in development. Features vary by build and platform. This notice explains the data paths in the application; optional services are separate from local typing.

Local typing and learning

Local typing does not require an account or sending your text to an AI service. Optional local learning stores bounded word-frequency and one- or two-word context counts for the selected account and language. It does not store full conversation transcripts, and these learning statistics are not uploaded by clipboard sync. You can disable learning and clear learned words in keyboard settings.

Your clipboard

Saved text clips, pins, order and shortcuts are stored in libraries on your device. Clipboard import and export are explicit actions. Exported JSON files contain readable text; protect them before sharing. Account-based manual clipboard sync uploads the selected account libraries to the application's AWS storage. A clipboard account is separate from a ChatGPT account. Sync data is encrypted in transit and at rest on AWS, but is not end-to-end encrypted. Signing in does not silently upload local libraries.

Optional AI writing tools

When you connect ChatGPT and authorize a writing action, the text required for that action is sent to OpenAI. Automatic suggestions have a separate opt-in and may send limited recent typing context after a pause. You can turn them off. Connecting an account does not give AiKeys access to your ChatGPT conversation history or memory. Private and restricted fields are excluded from AI suggestions and local learning by the application.

GIF and sticker search

The Klipy integration is being added. When available and you choose to search for media, your search query and ordinary network metadata are processed by Klipy and the AiKeys media endpoint. Media search is separate from automatic word prediction. It does not require uploading your clipboard library or surrounding conversation. See Klipy's privacy policy for their processing.

Voice input

AiKeys does not record audio inside its iOS keyboard extension. Voice input relies on the operating system or enabled voice-input service, with that service's permissions and privacy terms.

Accounts, retention and requests

Local libraries can be edited and deleted in the app. Signing out is not the same as deleting cloud data. To request account or cloud-data deletion, or ask a privacy question, contact admin@ameerusa.com. Do not email passwords, sign-in codes, or sensitive clipboard contents.

This website

This site uses no advertising analytics, signup forms or tracking cookies. Its hosting provider may process standard server logs such as IP address and request time to operate and secure the site. The language switch is kept in page memory and is not stored as a tracking identifier.
